We seek an enthusiastic team player with exceptional sales abilities and a focus on guest satisfaction to join us as our next Group Sales Manager at our bustling hotel and conference center. In this role, you'll lead the development of a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, targeting both new and existing accounts to surpass revenue goals through outside sales efforts, on-site visits, networking within the community, and more. Our ideal candidate will be proactive in researching local market trends and competitor behavior to seize business opportunities and drive revenue growth. Responsibilities of the Group Sales Manager:

  • Secure suitable meeting spaces and guest rooms for groups
  • Ensure client satisfaction through attentive service and follow-up
  • Generate contracts with industry-appropriate language
  • Maintain accurate client records and contract data
  • Coordinate with other departments to deliver high-quality service
  • Assist in budget management and attend industry events to generate leads
  • Build and manage a robust account database through various outreach methods

Qualifications for the Group Sales Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or hospitality
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Thorough understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Familiarity with Opera software and other relevant sales technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
